About Us

Eastern Oak College of Nursing Science - Knowledge, Integrity & Compassion.

Eastern Oak College of Nursing Sciences aims to be a vibrant and supportive academic community of staff and clinical practitioners that offers career-oriented nursing education to prepare nurses as population health experts in today’s health care settings. The need for healthcare professionals has never been greater. The critical role of registered nurses in our health care system is ever-increasing, and so is the demand for highly skilled nurses nationally and globally.  The College particularly offer training for students to become registered nurses through our rigorous, engaging and well-designed curriculum that leads to OND and HND in Nursing and Midwifery.

Our team of highly qualified nursing educators are committed to developing a new generation of well-educated, skilled, confident and compassionate nursing practitioners that will mould the future of healthcare. Our students are our core partners and we aspire to offer them the opportunity to obtain a breadth of complex healthcare knowledge, clinical reasoning skills, and technological expertise that will enable them to deliver high-quality healthcare from prevention to end of life. Everyone who works at EOCNS, teaching staff and administrators has the success of our students as the focal point and the reason for coming to work every single day. We have been able to build facilities, programmes, and teaching and learning environments that prime students for success.

EOCNS is guided by a consistent set of principles: excellence in teaching, learning and quality of student experience; responsiveness to the needs of communities and organisations, and working in partnership to make great things happen. We work collaboratively with local, national and international health care providers to provide high-quality education, professional practice development and research that meets the needs of the evolving healthcare sector and supports excellence in practice, to the benefit of all those who access healthcare.
